The number nobody checks
Belt widths, and which trousers each one fits
Width is stamped on the buckle in millimetres and it decides whether a belt threads at all. The range carries 5 of them; here is what each is for and what exists in it.

32 belts
32 mm, and what it is for
Slim by adult standards and standard for youth sizes. It threads anything and it disappears under a shirt.

63 belts
35 mm, and what it is for
The formal width, and the one to default to. It sits properly in the loops of dress trousers and passes jeans loops as well.

44 belts
38 mm, and what it is for
Jeans, workwear and anything the belt has to carry. Too wide for most dress trousers, and that is the whole trade.
